Unlike most of our peers, we are NOT traditional Third Party Marketers (“3PMs”). Clients engage us on a Consulting Fee Only basis, which is never determined by raising assets (sales) for our clients.
After years of raising asset for our own products and working with many 3PMs, our position is that incentives and motivations can quickly become misaligned, resulting in the 3PM’s failure to deliver on lofty promises and sometimes even long-term damage to the manager’s brand/reputation.
Similarly, managers often develop a tendency to focus either too much on inadequate short-term sales goals, or impairment of long-term franchise value if the 3PM is overly successful.
In the end, raising assets is the culmination of a myriad of factors, both cyclical and structural, many of which are either known unknowns or unknown unknowns¹
By separating the “marketing” and “sales” objectives/incentives, asset managers and financial services firms can more accurately measure/assess efficacy and compensation.
Clients may choose to work with us on Full Service Retainer model, where we Build & Maintain all of the features and functionality described in What We Do.
This model is typically accompanied by a one year initial term at an agreed upon monthly rate that provides the client with a predictable expenditure and ample time for all aspects of the project to be designed, tested and implemented, as well as for users to be trained as needed.
Additionally, management can evaluate overall price-to-value to determine the level of internal versus external resources needed to maintain longer term.
Clients may choose to work with us on a Project-based model, where we Build Out some or all of the features and functionality described in What We Do.
This model is typically accompanied by a 3-6 month initial term at an agreed upon monthly rate that provides the client with a predictable expenditure and ample time for all aspects of the project to be designed, tested and implemented, as well as for users to be trained as needed.
Additionally, management can evaluate the overall level of internal versus external resources needed to maintain longer term.
